Vietnam has over 80 golf courses, with roughly 40 open to international visitors. I’ve personally reviewed the top 17 championship courses on this site — covering every region from Da Nang to Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City.
What is the best golf course in Vietnam?
The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip is consistently ranked Vietnam’s #1 course. For Central Vietnam, Hoiana Shores and Ba Na Hills Golf Club are exceptional. See my complete Best Golf Courses in Vietnam 2026 ranking for the full top 20.
How much does it cost to play golf in Vietnam?
Green fees range from $40–60 USD at city courses to $120–180 USD at premium resort courses. Add $15–25 for a caddie and $20–30 for a cart. A full 5-day golf trip typically costs $1,200–2,500 USD depending on course selection and accommodation. My Vietnam Golf Costs 2026 guide breaks everything down line by line.
When is the best time for a golf trip to Vietnam?
It depends on the region. Central Vietnam (Da Nang) is best from February to August. Northern Vietnam (Hanoi) peaks from October to April. Southern Vietnam plays well year-round. My Best Time to Play Golf in Vietnam guide gives a month-by-month breakdown for every region.
Do I need a visa to play golf in Vietnam?
Most nationalities can get a 90-day e-visa online for $25 USD. Citizens of 13 countries (including Japan, South Korea, and several EU nations) enjoy visa-free entry for 45 days. My Vietnam Golf Visa Guide has the full country-by-country breakdown and application steps.
